Welcome to Rock Transportation, Inc. Rock Transportation, has provided school bus transportation services since August, 1992. Our Founder and President, AB Rock has over 25 years of experience in management and operational supervision with Rock Transportation Inc. Rock Transportation is a full service transportation company located in Jacksonville, FL. We specialize in school bus transportation for group events of all kinds. Our fleet of 30+ buses include; 52 passenger buses, 86 passenger buses and Charter Buses that are each certified by US DOT maintenance code, and kept in tip-top running condition. All of our drivers are professionals with years of experience driving school buses. Rock Transportation is suited to serve all your transportation needs. From school trips, sports teams, wedding shuttles, church outings, local and central Florida tours and everything in between. Who We Are at Rock Transportation
Mr. Rock established Rock Transportation Bus Company, Inc. in 1992 with one school bus providing transportation for Duval County Public Schools. Over the years, we have grown to a fleet of twenty two school buses and since 1992 to present it has been a terrific 25 years for Rock Transportation Inc. We have transported people from all over Florida and Georgia and the surrounding areas. Throughout the years, we have earned a reputation of excellence, reliability and a trust with our many dedicated clients and continue to grow and develop new client relationships.
Our fleet consists of modern passenger school buses and large fully equipt charter buses that are certified and inspected annually by the Florida Department of Transportation. We carry a one million dollar liability policy on our buses and are listed with Dunn’s and ORCA.
You can always count on your bus being clean, mechanically & physically well maintained, air-conditioned and radio equipped. We maintain a radio dispatcher during ALL WORKING HOURS. We also provide road service and/or back-up for our buses. We are able to provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year AM/FM/C D Players so that you can supply the music you would like during your trip. We currently provide school bus transportation for more than 70 private schools, St. Johns Middle School Athletic Association, The Nassau County School District. We also provide service for the University of North Florida, Jacksonville University, University of Florida-Gainesville, Travel Agencies, Wedding Coordinators, The Jacksonville Jaguars and the US Navy.

OUR DRIVERS
Uniformed, Friendly, Professionally Trained, Clean Drivers! Those are the only kind of employee’s we will consider for employment here at Rock Transportation. Only experience, well –trained State certified drivers and we know our drivers well. 98% of our drivers have driven for us for more than 10 years. They all have excellent driving records and are safety conscience, are constantly receiving ongoing training, receive yearly physical and are annually and randomly drug tested. Our company maintains a zero drug tolerance policy. Our drivers will be in uniform and will always dress appropriately while on the job. We meet all Duval County School standards to meet vendor certification.
